Women occurs as 1978 novel written by Charles Bukowski, starring his semi-autobiographical character Henry Chinaski. Around direct contrast to Factotum, Post Office and Ham on Rye, Women is centred around Chinaski's late life, as a celebrated poet & writer, non as a dead-prevent rotter. It does yet feature a equivalent constant carousel of women by using whom Chinaski lone finds irregular fullfillment. In the book, Chinaksi's nickname is "Hank", which was one of Bukowski's nicknames.
One of a women featured in the book is known as Lydia Vance; this is Bukowski's portrail of Linda King.
